1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SSSAYS at https://scalysssays.com and its related website features (the “Service”).
“SSSAYS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the Service. “You,” “your,” and “Member” refer to the person using the Service.
By accepting these Terms through the Service, you agree to these Terms and the SSSAYS Rules presented with them. Certain features may require additional disclosures or acceptance, as described in these Terms.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to admin@scalysssays.com.
2. Eligibility and registration
SSSAYS welcomes people across healthcare and related fields, including, without limitation, students, trainees, professionals, researchers, educators, administrators, business participants, and retired professionals.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms under the law applicable to you. Being 18 does not, by itself, establish that capacity in every jurisdiction. If you lack that capacity, you may register only under a legally valid arrangement expressly accepted by SSSAYS and your authorized representative.
Provide accurate required registration information and do not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, affiliations, or authority to act for another person or organization. You may use a permitted public username without publicly displaying your legal name.
Registration, a professional description, or a profile label does not establish that SSSAYS has independently verified a Member’s identity, credentials, licensing, or professional standing.
3. Accounts, public profiles, and anonymity
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity you authorize. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, sell or transfer your account without authorization, or use accounts to evade restrictions.
Public profile information and eligible published contributions may be visible to other Members and visitors. Your SSSAYS and replies may appear on your public profile and elsewhere in the Service. Saved items and drafts are not presented as public contributions merely because they are associated with your account.
SSSAYS makes reasonable efforts to support pseudonymous participation and protect account information. We cannot guarantee absolute anonymity, confidentiality, or security. Your writing, images, affiliations, circumstances, or other information may allow someone to identify you. Unauthorized access, technical incidents, screenshots, and disclosures by others may also occur.
Information that is not publicly displayed may still be accessed by authorized personnel or service providers when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or administer the Service, or as required by law. These Terms do not authorize unrestricted public disclosure of private account information.
Sessions may remain active. Sign out on shared devices and protect access to your device and email account. Changing a username does not necessarily erase prior references, activity, or enforcement history.
4. Discussion only; no professional services
Content on SSSAYS is provided for general discussion and informational purposes. It is not individualized medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, or services.
Participation in the Service alone does not establish a clinician-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship, among others, with SSSAYS or another Member.
Do not use the Service to provide patient-specific diagnosis or treatment, transmit clinical orders, establish a professional engagement, or replace independent professional judgment. Seek appropriately qualified assistance for your circumstances.
SSSAYS is not an emergency service. Contact the appropriate emergency services when immediate assistance is needed.
A professional title, an Official label, a Helpful reaction, a vote, or a recommendation does not establish accuracy, professional suitability, or endorsement. SSSAYS is a social network for discussion and sharing perspectives.
5. Confidential and sensitive information
Do not publish or transmit information you are not authorized to disclose. This includes, without limitation, patient information, privileged communications, trade secrets, confidential business or employment information, nonpublic research, account credentials, and private information about another person.
Removing a name may be insufficient. Dates, images, locations, unusual circumstances, document details, and metadata can identify a person or reveal protected information.
Use general, fictional, or sufficiently de-identified examples when appropriate, and comply with applicable duties and restrictions. Another person’s permission does not automatically override legal obligations or the SSSAYS Rules.
SSSAYS is not intended to serve as a confidential clinical, legal, business, or records-management system. Do not assume that a professional confidentiality arrangement or business associate agreement exists.
Report an accidental disclosure promptly through the available controls or admin@scalysssays.com. Do not repeat or redistribute the sensitive information when reporting it.
6. Your content and responsibility
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the permissions granted in these Terms and any rights belonging to others.
You are responsible for your submissions, including text, images, links, polls, scales, replies, comments, and Marketplace materials. Submit only material you have the rights and authority to provide and license for the uses authorized by these Terms.
Do not present another person’s work as your own or imply authorization, credentials, evidence, or affiliations you do not have. Clearly distinguish personal experience and opinion from factual claims where the distinction matters.
Research, research recruitment, and organized academic or commercial surveys involving the community require SSSAYS’s prior written approval under the SSSAYS Rules, in addition to any required regulatory, institutional, or ethical approvals, disclosures, permissions, and consents. Access to ordinary discussion or polling features does not supply those approvals.
SSSAYS may apply publication requirements, request supporting information, or decline content without undertaking to verify every submission.
7. Permission to use submitted content
By submitting content for publication, you grant SSSAYS a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, publish, translate, format, adapt, and use that content to operate, improve, present, and promote the Service.
This permission includes using public contributions, associated public usernames, and publicly displayed images in SSSAYS communications and promotional materials, including, without limitation, other websites, social media, advertisements, emails, presentations, and demonstrations. Separate approval or compensation for each authorized use is not required.
SSSAYS may sublicense these permissions to service providers and distribution platforms as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Adaptations may include excerpts, resizing, translations, captions, and formatting, but must not misleadingly attribute a materially different statement or an endorsement of a vendor to you.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary for these uses, including applicable rights involving other people’s work, images, likenesses, and privacy. This license does not transfer ownership of your content.
Private drafts, nonpublic account information, and confidential administrative communications are not licensed for public promotion merely because they are submitted to the Service.
The license continues as necessary for content lawfully retained under these Terms, existing conversations, legal and administrative purposes, and promotional materials lawfully created or distributed before removal. Removal does not require recalling previously distributed materials or copies outside our control. Section 18 governs account deletion and retention.
8. Participation, results, and visibility
SSSAYS may offer discussions, polls, scales, replies, Helpful reactions, following, saved items, and other participation features. Available controls determine how a feature operates, including participation periods and when results become visible.
Results reflect participation received through the Service. They are not necessarily representative, scientifically validated, independently verified, or suitable as evidence for professional or business decisions.
Individual responses, participation lists, and account relationships are subject to the visibility settings and disclosures applicable when you participate. Do not assume that a small group or an aggregated result makes your participation impossible to infer.
SSSAYS may change participation features, including attribution, following, and response visibility, under Section 21. Where required, a change affecting previously private information will require appropriate notice and consent. Affirmative acceptance of updated Terms may provide that consent when legally sufficient.
Saving or following content does not guarantee its continued availability or create a right to access withdrawn material.
9. Editing, deleting, closing, and withdrawing content
Subject to account restrictions, content status, and available controls, Members may edit their own main posts, replies, and comments without a fixed time limit.
A Member may delete their own content only before another Member has interacted with it or its associated thread. Interaction includes, without limitation, replies, votes, reactions, and Helpful activity. For a reply or comment, responses within its branch also count.
Once another Member has interacted, the author may continue to edit eligible content but may no longer delete it. Later removal of that interaction does not automatically restore deletion eligibility.
Editing must not misrepresent what others responded to. After voting begins, changes that materially alter a poll’s question, response options, scale, or meaning may be restricted or require a new poll. Corrections remain subject to the available controls and this restriction.
Authorized administrators may edit, redact, restrict, close, withdraw, or remove any content, including main posts, replies, comments, and Scaly content, regardless of age or participation. Administrative edits may be identified as such, and records may be retained for authorized review. Materially changed statements must not be misleadingly presented as the Member’s original words.
Closing participation stops new replies, votes, or other responses, as applicable. It does not itself remove the existing conversation.
Withdrawing or removing the central post from public access also withdraws its associated replies and nested threads from public access, including through profiles, saved items, search results, and direct links. Authorized staff may retain access for review. If the central post is restored, eligible associated content may also be restored.
These rules do not give Members an unrestricted right to erase conversations. Requests for assistance may be sent to admin@scalysssays.com. Retention and previously distributed copies are addressed in Section 18.
10. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and consistently with these Terms and the SSSAYS Rules.
Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, threats, harassment, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, fraud, exploitation of minors, unlawful sexual content, nonconsensual intimate depictions, and infringement of another person’s rights. These restrictions include prohibited synthetic or manipulated content.
Do not knowingly publish materially false or dangerously misleading claims, present fabricated sources as genuine, or promote unlawful products or services. Good-faith questions, disagreement, criticism, and clearly identified opinion are not prohibited merely because they are disputed.
Do not expose private identities or confidential information, misrepresent credentials, or deceptively edit content to distort another person’s participation or evade moderation.
Do not engage in spam, undisclosed paid promotion, fabricated engagement, coordinated manipulation of votes or reactions, malicious reporting, unauthorized collection of personal information, harmful automation, malware distribution, or interference with the Service. Do not bypass security measures or account restrictions. Commercial promotion and automated participation require SSSAYS’s authorization as provided in the SSSAYS Rules; disclosure alone does not authorize promotion.
Nothing in these Terms prohibits lawful reporting to authorities, protected whistleblowing, or other activity that applicable law protects from contractual restriction.
11. Reports and moderation
Reports must be made in good faith and contain accurate information. A report is an allegation, not a finding. Avoid including unnecessary confidential information.
SSSAYS may use automated measures and staff review. An urgent report may temporarily restrict content before human review. Such action does not establish that a violation occurred.
We may review and preserve evidence, request information, issue warnings, edit or redact content, limit visibility or participation, suspend or terminate accounts, and withdraw content or associated threads. We are not required to follow a fixed sequence of measures or provide advance warning in every case.
Except where law requires otherwise, we do not promise to review every contribution, detect every violation, or resolve every report within a particular period. Keeping or restoring content is not an endorsement or legal determination.
Individual reports, evidence, and moderation decisions are generally handled through private notices and authorized review. Content that is kept or restored will not ordinarily display a public disciplinary history merely because it was reported. Necessary disclosures may still be made for notices, appeals, safety, or legal compliance.
Nonconsensual intimate depictions. A depicted person or authorized representative may request removal by emailing admin@scalysssays.com without an account. Include: (1) a physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the depiction and enough information to locate it; (3) a brief statement of good-faith belief that it was published without consent, with relevant supporting information; and (4) contact information. This process covers applicable real and synthetic depictions. Where the TAKE IT DOWN Act applies, we will remove a depiction as soon as possible and within 48 hours after receiving a valid request, and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies within that period. Do not attach the intimate image when a link or other identifying information is sufficient.
Section 12 addresses ordinary moderation appeals. Those procedures do not replace statutory removal rights or deadlines.
12. Moderation notices and appeals
SSSAYS may communicate account restrictions and moderation decisions through the Service, email, or another account communication channel. Keep your contact information current and review available notices.
Where a decision is eligible for appeal, follow the procedure and deadline provided in the notice or Notices and Appeals area. Unless otherwise stated, one appeal may be submitted for each decision. Identify the decision and explain the relevant facts or error.
A participation restriction does not, by itself, prevent access to available notices or appeal controls. If you cannot access them, contact admin@scalysssays.com and identify your account and the decision. Reasonable verification may be required.
We may uphold, modify, or reverse a decision. Filing an appeal does not automatically restore content or participation. Duplicate or late appeals may be declined, subject to applicable law, material new information, or correction of an error.
We may limit disclosed details to protect privacy, safety, investigations, or legal obligations. Internal appeals do not waive statutory rights or replace legally required procedures.
13. Scaly, news, and external sources
Scaly is an official voice used by SSSAYS administrators. An Official designation identifies platform-originated content; it does not guarantee factual accuracy, professional advice, or independent verification.
Shed Some Light and similar features may present selected news, summaries, translations, commentary, images, and links for discussion. Summaries may omit context, and information may change. Consult the original source, publication date, and other appropriate sources before relying on a claim.
External websites and providers operate independently and may impose their own terms, privacy practices, fees, and access restrictions. A link or mention does not endorse every statement, product, or service. Removing a SSSAYS post does not remove the original external publication.
Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Their appearance on SSSAYS does not automatically authorize reuse. Material sponsorship or commercial relationships will be disclosed where required.
14. Marketplace and independent businesses
The Marketplace currently functions as a directory for discovering independent businesses, providers, products, services, and resources. SSSAYS does not process purchases or become a party to a transaction merely because a Member views a listing, follows a link, or contacts a listed business. Any resulting transaction or professional relationship is directly between the Member and the business and is subject to their agreement, including applicable prices, payment obligations, delivery, cancellation, refund, and service terms.
Businesses and providers that submit or authorize listings under these Terms are referred to in this section as “Vendors.” These Terms govern Vendor participation upon acceptance. No separate Vendor agreement is required for the rights, licenses, obligations, or protections stated in this section to apply.
Inclusion in the Marketplace does not, by itself, constitute verification, accreditation, endorsement, a professional referral, or a guarantee of qualifications, licensing, safety, availability, quality, or results. Members should independently evaluate a business and its offerings before providing information, making a payment, or entering into an agreement. A listing does not, by itself, create an agency, partnership, employment, or joint venture relationship between SSSAYS and the listed business.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SSSAYS disclaims all responsibility and liability for Vendors’ acts, omissions, representations, branding, offerings, websites, and dealings with Members or other persons. This includes, without limitation, claims involving infringement, fraud, professional negligence, defective or unsafe products, nonperformance, payment disputes, delivery failures, refunds, financial losses, or misuse of information by a Vendor. SSSAYS does not guarantee a Vendor’s performance, insure a transaction, or undertake to compensate a Member for a Vendor’s conduct. SSSAYS has no contractual obligation to investigate, mediate, resolve, or fund disputes between Members and Vendors.
Anyone submitting or authorizing a listing must have authority to represent the business and provide the relevant materials. Information supplied must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading, and material changes must be communicated promptly. Businesses remain responsible for their offerings, representations, required licenses, professional obligations, and compliance with applicable law. SSSAYS may request supporting information without undertaking an obligation to independently verify every listing.
Each Vendor represents and warrants that it owns, or holds sufficient rights and permissions to use and authorize SSSAYS to use, all submitted business names, trade names, trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, text, likenesses, and other materials. The Vendor is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses, releases, consents, and authorizations, including permission for the promotional uses described below, and for paying any associated royalties or other charges. The Vendor further represents and warrants that those materials and their authorized use do not infringe or violate another person’s rights.
Vendors and their licensors retain ownership of their branding and materials, subject to the licenses granted to SSSAYS. SSSAYS does not undertake trademark searches, ownership verification, rights clearance, registration, or enforcement on a Vendor’s behalf. Review, editing, publication, or promotion of a listing does not constitute legal clearance or an assumption of the Vendor’s obligations.
SSSAYS may accept, decline, organize, edit, categorize, feature, limit, suspend, or remove listings, in its sole discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SSSAYS may reject a prospective Vendor or discontinue an existing listing at any time, for any reason or no stated reason, without prior notice or an obligation to explain its decision. Grounds may include, without limitation, actual or potential competition with SSSAYS or its existing or planned offerings; commercial strategy; audience or category fit; duplication; limited capacity; reputational, security, legal, or operational concerns; inaccurate or unsupported claims; inadequate cooperation; or suspected violations of these Terms or the SSSAYS Rules. A violation need not be established before SSSAYS exercises this discretion.
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee publication or approval. No particular placement, duration, visibility, traffic, customer contact, or commercial result is promised. Prior acceptance does not create a right to continued inclusion, exclusivity, equal placement, or preferential treatment. Vendors bear their own costs of preparing submissions and participating in the Marketplace.
If you submit or authorize materials for public use in a Marketplace listing, you grant SSSAYS a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, publish, translate, and adapt those materials to operate and promote the Service, the Marketplace, and the listing. This includes, without limitation, authorized business names, trade names, trademarks, logos, descriptions, photographs, videos, and other promotional materials, which may appear in social media posts, advertisements, emails, presentations, and other communications on or outside the Service. SSSAYS may permit service providers and distribution platforms to use those materials for these purposes.
These uses do not require separate approval for each publication or compensation to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Formatting, editing, and adaptation must not materially misrepresent the business or its offerings. The applicable duration and survival provisions of Section 7 also govern this license. Private inquiry submissions and administrative contact details are not treated as public promotional materials merely because they were submitted to SSSAYS.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each Vendor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SSSAYS and its personnel, contractors, and agents against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, reasonable settlements, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from the Vendor’s materials, offerings, conduct, transactions, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights, including claims concerning SSSAYS’s use of Vendor materials within the license granted by these Terms. SSSAYS may control the defense through counsel of its choice at the Vendor’s reasonable expense. The Vendor must cooperate and may not settle a claim in a manner that imposes an obligation, admission, or restriction on SSSAYS without SSSAYS’s prior written consent. These obligations survive rejection, suspension, or removal of the listing and termination of Vendor participation.
Marketplace participation does not grant a Vendor permission to use SSSAYS’s name, logos, Scaly, or other branding, or to represent itself as approved, certified, or endorsed by SSSAYS. Any such use requires SSSAYS’s prior written authorization.
Paid placements, sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, and other material commercial relationships will be disclosed where required by applicable law. Marketplace participation does not automatically give a business access to Members’ private account information. Information a Member voluntarily provides directly to a business is subject to that business’s practices and applicable law.
SSSAYS may introduce additional Marketplace features or paid services. Applicable charges and additional terms will be disclosed before a payment obligation is accepted. Those terms may be presented and accepted within the Service without requiring a separate signed Vendor agreement. Merely browsing the Marketplace or submitting an inquiry does not authorize a charge.
15. Notifications and email communications
SSSAYS may send service communications concerning replies, account security, moderation, appeals, and changes to the Service. Not every event will generate a notification or appear through every channel.
SSSAYS may also send promotional emails encouraging participation in selected SSSAYS, polls, or discussions; introducing features or vendors; or highlighting Marketplace offerings and sponsored content, subject to applicable consent requirements and communication preferences.
Promotional messages will provide applicable disclosures and a method to unsubscribe. Turning off reply notifications does not necessarily unsubscribe you from promotional messages. Unsubscribing from promotions does not prevent necessary nonpromotional account communications.
Notifications may be grouped, delayed, filtered, or suppressed. We may take measures to avoid duplicate delivery but do not guarantee delivery, immediacy, completeness, or the absence of duplicates. In-app and email notices may concern the same event.
Maintain an accurate email address and protect access to your inbox. Notifications may reveal usernames or content previews. Delivered messages and forwarded copies are addressed in Section 18.
Promoting a vendor does not, by itself, provide that vendor with your email address or private account information.
16. Automated features and recommendations
SSSAYS may use automated systems, algorithms, and artificial intelligence where implemented to support search, sorting, recommendations, summaries, translations, spam prevention, safety, and moderation. Not every feature involves artificial intelligence or human review.
Recommendations may reflect interests, activity, recency, relevance, and operational factors. They do not guarantee accuracy, suitability, endorsement, or a particular level of visibility.
Automated outputs may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect, even when presented confidently. Independently review material before relying on it or publishing it as your own submission.
Automated safeguards do not detect every risk or confidential disclosure. The absence of a warning does not establish permission to publish.
This section does not independently authorize public disclosure of private information or unrestricted use of confidential information to train third-party models. Materially different uses remain subject to applicable commitments, notice, and consent requirements.
17. SSSAYS intellectual property and complaints
As between you and SSSAYS, SSSAYS owns its proprietary branding and platform materials, including the SSSAYS and Scaly names, character, logos, identifiers, designs, original graphics, text, and software created or owned by SSSAYS, together with applicable intellectual property rights. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners.
You receive a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service through its intended features while complying with these Terms. Membership or contribution does not transfer ownership of SSSAYS intellectual property.
Do not commercially exploit, copy, adapt, distribute, sell, or license protected platform materials except as authorized or permitted by law. Permitted sharing does not authorize presenting yourself as an official representative, partner, or endorsed business.
Send intellectual property complaints to admin@scalysssays.com. Identify the protected work or right, the disputed material and its location, your authority and basis for the complaint, and contact information.
We may request additional information or restrict material during review. Formal copyright notices and counter-notices must satisfy applicable statutory requirements and follow any published designated-agent instructions. Internal moderation appeals do not replace those procedures.
SSSAYS may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Complaint information may be shared as reasonably necessary with affected parties or authorities. Do not submit knowingly false claims or unnecessary confidential information.
18. Deactivation, account deletion, and retention
Request deactivation or account deletion through available controls or admin@scalysssays.com. We may verify your identity and authority before acting.
Deactivation may be reversible and does not necessarily delete account history. Reactivation remains subject to existing restrictions.
Permanent deletion ends account access and initiates applicable deletion or de-identification processes. Processing may require verification and technical steps and is not necessarily immediate or reversible.
Contributions may remain where necessary to preserve otherwise eligible conversations, potentially attributed to “Former Member” or another de-identified label. Their wording, quotations, or outside copies may still identify you. Account deletion does not create an unrestricted right to erase other people’s participation.
Account deletion does not restore content or threads previously withdrawn from public access.
We may retain information reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, enforcement, moderation, appeals, disputes, legal obligations, and legal claims. Retained information remains subject to appropriate access restrictions and is deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably needed. Backup copies may remain until ordinary retention cycles expire.
Deletion or withdrawal cannot guarantee erasure of delivered emails, screenshots, external publications, search-engine copies, or other copies outside our control. Applicable licenses, accrued obligations, and lawful evidence-retention needs survive as described in these Terms.
19. Availability, discontinuation, and warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSSAYS may modify, limit, suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time, for any reason or no stated reason, including personal, financial, business, operational, technical, security, or legal reasons. A Member violation is not required.
When reasonably practicable, we may provide advance notice of permanent discontinuation and an opportunity to retrieve content through available tools. This is not always possible, and applicable mandatory obligations remain controlling. Retention is governed by Section 18.
The Service depends on systems and providers that may experience outages, maintenance, attacks, or other disruptions. We do not guarantee continuous availability, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of any feature.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS COMMITMENTS IN THESE TERMS.
We do not guarantee that information is accurate, complete, current, or error-free; that security incidents will never occur; or that all defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee Member identities, credentials, conduct, vendor performance, or particular outcomes.
SSSAYS is not a permanent archive or backup service. Retain independent copies of records you are entitled and need to preserve.
20. Responsibility, indemnification, and limitations of liability
You are responsible for your submissions, representations, conduct, and decisions. SSSAYS does not assume your professional, contractual, or legal obligations by providing the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSSAYS is not responsible for independent third-party conduct, information, offerings, or transactions. Hosting, organizing, recommending, or moderating content does not make SSSAYS its author, insurer, or guarantor.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SSSAYS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA TO THE EXTENT THEY FALL WITHIN THOSE CATEGORIES, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY OR WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE.
An adverse outcome from third-party information, external transactions, service disruption, or lawful moderation or discontinuation does not, by itself, establish a breach by SSSAYS.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you must indemnify and hold harmless SSSAYS and its personnel, contractors, and agents against third-party claims and reasonable associated legal expenses to the extent caused by your unlawful content or conduct, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. SSSAYS will provide reasonable notice and may control the defense. You must reasonably cooperate and may not agree to a settlement imposing an admission or obligation on SSSAYS without written consent.
These provisions supplement the vendor obligations in Section 14 and apply only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
21. Changes to these Terms and the SSSAYS Rules
SSSAYS may update these Terms and the SSSAYS Rules to reflect changes in features, operations, business practices, or legal requirements. Updated versions will identify their effective date and version.
Material changes will be communicated through the Service, email, or another appropriate channel, with advance notice where required. Urgent legal or security changes may require a different implementation schedule. Minor corrections may be published without separate notification.
Where required or appropriate, we will request affirmative acceptance through signup, login, feature activation, or another clearly identified process that makes the updated terms available.
Acceptance of updated Terms may provide consent where legally sufficient. If a change requires a separate or more specific consent, a general acceptance will suffice only if it satisfies that requirement.
Changes involving visibility, attribution, participation, or private information remain subject to applicable notice and consent requirements and existing privacy commitments. Silence alone is not express consent.
If you decline changes necessary for continued use, access to affected features or the Service may be restricted or ended, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion under Section 18.
Updated Terms may apply to existing accounts, continued use of the Service, and previously submitted content, as specified in the update and subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. Where legally sufficient, your affirmative acceptance may authorize those changes. Paid features may be introduced with applicable charges disclosed and accepted through the relevant purchase, subscription, or activation process.
22. Governing law, disputes, and interpretation
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, subject to mandatory legal protections that apply notwithstanding this choice.
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes concerning these Terms or the Service must be brought in the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, as appropriate. The parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. This provision does not prevent lawful reports to regulatory or governmental authorities.
You may contact admin@scalysssays.com to seek an informal resolution. Doing so is not a mandatory prerequisite to exercising legal rights and does not pause a deadline unless agreed in writing or required by law.
An unenforceable provision will be limited or severed only as legally permitted. The remaining independent provisions continue to apply. Delay or failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a general waiver.
SSSAYS may assign these Terms in connection with a lawful transfer, reorganization, or succession, subject to applicable privacy commitments and required notice or consent. Members may not transfer their rights or accounts without authorization except as permitted by law.
These Terms, the SSSAYS Rules, and properly accepted feature-specific terms constitute the agreement governing the Service. These Terms control an inconsistency unless an applicable feature-specific provision expressly states otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the English version controls if a translation is inconsistent with it. Headings are for convenience. “Including” and similar expressions are nonexclusive.
23. Contact
Contact SSSAYS at admin@scalysssays.com for questions about these Terms, privacy-related requests, account access, or other matters requiring assistance.
Use available reporting controls for ordinary content or Member reports. Section 12 addresses moderation appeals, Section 17 addresses intellectual property complaints, and Section 11 provides the removal-request process for nonconsensual intimate depictions. That removal process does not require an account.
Include a clear explanation and the relevant username, link, or decision reference. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary confidential information.
This address is not an emergency service. General requests are not guaranteed an immediate response, without limiting legally required response or removal deadlines. Sending a message does not automatically extend an appeal or legal deadline.
